This color is a blue green added a touch of seafoam and for some intensity added a ting of red.

This is a monochromatic color combination as all the colors are in the same family of blue-greens.

I truly enjoyed creating this silk scarf as I was looking to create different colors by over painting over my primary colors and creating fabulous secondary and neutral colors way beyond my imagination.

Hand painted in Caribbean Colors this silk scarf has all the exciting tropical colors seen in the ocean and sky, the flowers and the trees .

The flowers are fantasy roses of pink and yellow with a striking blue green branch that is the length of the scarf with all it's leaves of different tones of green and blue. It is a colorful scarf that will be charming addition to your wardrobe of any color as all the colors of the rainbow are represented.

A statement scarf that will make any black dress look like a million dollars.

I love this Orchid Pink and it is hot with bit of red violet and I added the greens from bright green to a darker deep green when mixed with the red violet create a wonderful neutral for a harmonious transition to background. These are the most exciting colors ... the ones that are created with the overlapping of the complementary color.

Hand dyed in sexy hot pink with fuchsia a ting of red violet and it's complement greens in all it's shades makes this a colorful and striking silk scarf.

It makes a wonderful addition to a solid pink or green top. Black is also a good choice. Especially lovely if you wear lipstick in shades of blue pinks.

Kelly Green Charteuse Hand Dyed Silk Scarf

In 1764 this gorgeous yellow-green was named because of its resemblance to the green color of one of the French liqueurs called green chartreuse and so the name.

I always like to use several shades of the same color and so I have added a beautiful bright kelly green on the border and deep blue green that highlight the two colors.

Wear with blue for echoes of nature or with tan beige or brown for an organic feel. Try with black and white and yellow for a sporty touch.

Lady from Caguana

Lady from Caguana Hand Painted Silk Scarf

This Taino petroglyph, a carving on stone is called ... Mujer de Caguana or Caguana Woman-figure and is very special to our Culture. She is of high social ranking given that she is wearing an elaborated crown and large earrings. She is of advanced age as her eyes are closed and she has a bony thorax. Her lower body is as of frog legs symbolizing vitality and a fertility figure. Power is symbolized in her squatting position with that of demand for respect. She may be an ancestor figure from a noble or powerful family ... or simply a woman. The other end of the scarf has a ... Coqui Taino ... petroglyph symbolic of a very small tiny frog with a big ... COqui ... sound. Most of the colors are created right on the scarf as I used only the three primary colors. The petroglyphs and leaves are emblished in gold.

This multicolor scarf is hand dyed with exciting bright yellow center surrounded by stimulating red creating a beautiful blossoms and blue-green as a background.

As I hand dyed this silk scarf I was thinking about blossoms and when I was rinsing it out there they were ... a crisp and clean design and clear outline ... mission accomplished.

I hand dyed this silk scarf in my favorite neutral tones of camel which is a soft beige, bronze, khaki and black. There are times when we do not want to wear color and so this is a fabulous choice. The patten created makes the black take on a star shape and so giving it a little punch of color.
