Green and Red Violet Tie Dye

This tie dye silk scarf is in a beautiful chartreuse green which is a yellow green and I coupled with it's complementary color of burgundy, a red violet.

This color combo is very attractive especially for this time of the year when these two colors take center stage.

The chartreuse color is vibrant green perfect for the coming season.  The burgundy, a red violet, sets the stage. A deep green with a ting of blue borders the edge.  Wear with your earth tone colors as well as all your greens.

Kelly Green Charteuse Hand Dyed Silk Scarf

In 1764 this gorgeous yellow-green was named because of its resemblance to the green color of one of the French liqueurs called green chartreuse and so the name.

I always like to use several shades of the same color and so I have added a beautiful bright kelly green on the border and deep blue green that highlight the two colors.

Wear with blue for echoes of nature or with tan beige or brown for an organic feel. Try with black and white and yellow for a sporty touch.

Pink Roses on Blue-Green

This is my latest creation ...

with lots of blending of colors.  This square habotai silk scarf is actually hand painted with silk dyes in primary colors only ... yellow, fuchsia and blue.  It is wonderful to just let the colors blend right on the silk as it will always have a fresh feeling and the colors will alway look different.  The big Rose on one corner and the Rose buds on the opposite corner can be the ... Fashion Statement ... with a black dress or any solid color piece in your wardrobe and the Leaf corners are for a more simple subdued look.  Enjoy the coming of Spring.
